DVD time

today me and oka chilled at his house...we saw "Assault on Precinct 13"...at 1st oka wanted to see "Million Dollar Baby" but we thought it mite get a lil borin so didnt get that one...i on the other hand wanted to see "Coach Carter"...but the quality for coach carter isnt good yet, arrrgghh i wanted to see that one so bad cuz i think its gon b a good one...ps. i just talked to asta and she said mary saw it and it was good...hehehe... but we ended up with Assault on precinct 13, which wasnt bad at all...i liked it actually, not cuz ja rule is in it...i dont care wut ppl say, i happen to like ja rule okaaaayyyy....so anyways i'd give it a 3.5 stars for the movie...

gosh seein ja rule in that movie reminded me of MrM..hehehehe...asta and hector know wut im talkin bout...mrm was ja rule's groupie! hahaha..."bye ja rule!!" wahahahaha...but hands down to mrm, she actually got a pic with ja rule to show errrone that she met him..hehehe..i kno mrm doesnt really do computers, but hey if u're reading this...i miss u chica!!!!

anyways, i deff enjoyed my time with oka today...so relaxin just watchin dvd...the movie was good cuz i picked it out baby hehehe...and beside i missed him so much, not seein him for a whole weekend sucked big ones...so i was just happy i got to spend time with him today...i cant wait til our next so called blockbuster nite =)

JAVA JAZZ FESTIVAL !!!

phewwwwww....ooh gosh i dont think i've ever been this tired...i cant feel my legs! hahaha...so on my last blog, the question was..will i get sick on mon!?!? well i beat myself to it, i got freakin sick on thurs nite...so for the whole 3 days of java jazz festival my ass was sick !!! aaarrrgghhh...i cant believe it!...i felt terrible on fri, i didnt think i could go thru the whole day...on sat i felt a lil better, went by pretty quick...and today i felt much better, but i still got hella tired...seriously tho i had great time at the festival but my ass is all worked out hahaha...

so anyways i didnt get to interview any international artists, vj daniel got that job...so wut i did for these past 3 days was interviewin indo artists n ppl who came to the festival...i did mtv news and mtv jazz (a special program for this event)...buuuutttt i did get to take pics with George Duke and Angie Stone...i wanted to take a pic with Eric Benet, but that didnt happen, arrgh!...all good tho...ooh and no pics with the godfather of soul himself mr. James Brown..hiks hiks..he didnt do any interviews...hes too old for it..hehehe...

over all the festival was a success..so many ppl came..i'm glad i got to work even tho i was all sick...

its gon b a looonngggg week

its true, i think this week is gon b a looonggg week...its gon go by really really really slow...cuz my ass is put to work for freakin 6 days in row...whoaa...to make one thing clear tho, i am not complainin bout them givin me jobs hehehe...its all gravy...its just that i kno im gonna get so tired after sunday...yikes...i just hope i dont get sick.

so monday was my day off--shieet i cant even remember wut i did that day..
tues --i had to cover "Java Jazz Festival on the move bringin jazz to campus"..its a pre event kinda thing before Java Jazs Festival that will take place this weekend..yup it will go on for 3 days...
today--i had to cover a movie premiere
thurs--i will have to cover 2 events...im not a happy camper when theres 2 events to b covered in one day...1st one is a press conference for a car to b won for MTV VJ HUNT 2005...then the 2nd one is behind the scene of makin a video for some band i dont even kno yet..hehe...
fri, sat, and sun--JAVA JAZZ FESTIVAL...even tho my ass doesnt really listen to jazz but this one is gon b good...i really wanna see angie stone and james brown...i dont think i'll get to interview them but hopefully i can take pics with them..hehehehe

so that is wut i'll b doin this wholeeee week...will i get sick on mon??? that is the question...hhhmmm....

weekend at the town square

yup, u can say that again...spent the weekend at the town square...cuz my baby hosted an event sponsored by a cellular fone provider for 2 days in a row...

sat--oka hosted and he also performed..poor baby..he got all tired cuz the event started at 4pm and ended at 9pm...but we didnt go home rite away, we got sumthin to eat along with febian and fellma...
sumthin bout the town square, its freakin packed with tweens and teens on sat nites..its ridiculous...they just like to loiter...ppl could hardly move in the halls..arrrggghhh...we have decided to never go there on sat nites again..hehe

sun--oka hosted but he didnt have to perfom...this chick named Yacko performed..shes a rapper..she gots so many piercings and tatoos...but shes kewl..aaannnd i just found out today that her name is also yani...hehehe...but ppl call her Yacko..which is a pretty tite nickname i think... i remember the 1st time we met a week ago...both of us had the same adidas bag..hahah..i felt like some chick wore the same exact dress as mine at the prom..hahahah...ok ok maybe not that bad but u kno...

so my weekend at the town square was aiite, got a lil tired on both days...but im glad i got to keep my baby company while he worked ;-)

a tribute

last nite my baby performed at a high skool event called carasel...he only did 1 song tho, cuz last nite was diff than his other performances...last nite was supposed to b a performance by oka and soulid (a hip hop group)...but since one of the soulid's member named Morits passed away about 2 weeks ago, they decided to make last nite's performance a tribute for him...my baby called up a few other rappers to join in...so it ended up with 5 diff performers, each had to do 1 song and at the end they did p diddy n faith evan's "i'll b missin u"...the performance was great! the crowd was great! overall the tribute was a success, even tho it was kinda sad...morits' younger sis was there and she cried, she was ballin =( gosh even i almost cried when i saw her cryin...but i bet morits was smilin when he saw the performance =)

its funny how when i found out he passed away, i felt like i've lost sumone i kne so well...which was not the case, i didnt kno him well cuz come to think of it i only met the guy twice...i 1st met him at mtv when soulid was the guest for mtv jamz back in july...then i met him again at a hip hop event back in october...he was so nice, we got to chat for a bit...but that was it, that was the last time we ever saw each other...i remember we would text message each other for the next week or two but thats bout it...never saw the guy again...then 2 weeks ago when i was outta town for mtv, my baby woke me up at 2am and told me he passed away...i tried to go back to sleep but i couldnt, instead i just started cryin...then my friend soraya called me up, she was ballin too...then i talked to my baby and he comfort me, then i finally went back to bed...i remember my eyes were all puffy the next mornin from cryin, and i had to work that day too =\ anyways wut im tryin to say is i felt like i lost a good friend of mine even tho we only met twice...but im sure hes in a much better place now...

NEW SHOES !!!

whoooaaaaa...me so happy!!! me got new shoes!!!

and the best thing bout it is...i didnt spend any money on it! uh huh uh huh..they were free!!!

so this is wut happened...i went to makassar for a high skool event that was covered by mtv news..yup yup since i was the so called vj/reporter so i went there...and i made some new friends, u kno the high skoolers that were in charge of the event...anyways when i was there i kept seein these girls wearin nice ass shoes, i mean they're like converse/chuck's but with these cute patterns...and they were cheap too..waaaayyy cheaper than the ones in jakarta...so i pretty much told everyone i wanted to get a pair or two...buuuutttt that didnt happen, we didnt have enuff time to go shoppin =( so my ass left makassar without new shoes hehe...

but then today, wut did i get in the mail?!?!? (well more like mtv's mail but u kno it was addressed to me hehe)...i got SHOES!!!! uh huh uh huh...those high skoolers from makassar sent me the shoes i wanted..omg! that was so nice of them...i was surprised and happy at the same time!...cuz u kno they didnt have to, i was deff touched by it...awww...they sent me pics of them along with a letter sayin they were sorry that i didnt get a chance to go shoppin while i was there...awwwwww...how cute is that?? hehehe

u kno wut i can deff get used to this...ppl sendin me free stuff...hahahaha...im just playin... ;-)

(it was like 1130pm)...but i told him sure its all gravy for him to come over (i've missed him already anyway hehe)...the thing bout me is, im one of those ppl who doesnt like unplanned things ya kno...and especially when it comes to my bf, if outta no where hes like im comin over yani, yikes i always have negative thinkin its like sayin "yani, we need to talk"..which will end up with..."yani, we're breakin up"...hahaha...weird i kno i kno...
but sure enuff, when he got here the 1st thing he said when he saw me, "dont worry, we're not breakin up"...hahahaha..phew i felt relieved..hehe
he was such in a good mood last nite, i can tell he was so happy..oh ok ok ..so the reason y he came over is, he made a song for me!!!! and he wanted me to listen to it...awwwww...that was the sweetest thing ever! no one has ever made me a song before...anyways the song is about our relationship...and he just had to say that i (yes me, yani) asked for his # 1st..arrgg thanks alot baby..hahaha..just playin..i luv it ! i cant wait til its all done =)

today is valentines day !!!

this is my 2nd vday since i moved back to indo...the diff between this year and last year's vday is...im not alone anymore !!!! wooo hooo....i got to spend this vday with my baby--my special someone--my oka =D

i had to work earlier today...so he picked me up then we went to the mall...where i had dinner, yes I had dinner--he wasnt hungry...yet! hehe...then i got a rose from one of these sales girls who was givin away free roses..hehe...then my baby got hungry so he had dinner, and i had dessert..hehe...afterwards we went to the movies, we saw "after the sunset"...it was pretty good actually, we liked it!...

so even tho how we spent vday no diff than how we spend any other dates..u kno, dinner and a movie...but i must say my v day was deff a great one...i had so much fun just spendin time with him...i can honestly say im very much in love...luv u baby!...thank u for the cd !! im listenin to it rite now actually =D

uuuggghhh..i've been sick for the past couple of days now..i dont feel well...i feel like shiet...ugghhh...

wut a weekend!

i can honestly say im hella tired!...

fri nite went out to a club called MANNA HOUSE...r n b nite ofcourse...i had a great time!...i danced like nobody was watchin..hahaha...come to think of it, i havent danced like that in a while, finally met a guy who knows how to work it on the dance floor, i was deff impressed..and yea i guess a couple of drinks helped too..hehehehe...left the club around 330 then went to eat sum fried rice (so asian huh? hehe)..got home at 430..and went straigt to bed =)

sat nite i chilled with sum ppl from mtv...pretty much the vj hunt finalits who live in jakarta and a few of the mtv crew...we chilled at starbucks...it was deff nice seein them again, especially the boys...cuz even tho they live in jkt they r hella busy with their own thing so kinda hard to hang out...but soraya, we live like 10 mins away (with no traffic haha) so i've been chillin with her lately...luv hangin with her, shes a kewl chick!
anyways afterwards, we split, they went to play pool..and i went to SCORE...its like a rest turns into club kinda place..they have pool tables too...met up with febian, my cuzins, and a few friends...anyways it was r n b nite...and there was also a fashion show..one of my friend who is a bama is in it...hahaha...so i came to support ya kno...drank a lil, danced a lil, yup i must say it was a fun nite...got home round 430 again..and went straigt to bed =) hehehe

sundaaaayyyy...thought i was gonna b chillin at home, relaxin!..but naaahhh...my younger cuzins wanted to go bowling...so bowling day it is!...i bowled a game (while they bowled like 3 games), ate some japanese food, got me some chicken katzu, then some vanilla frapuccino at starbucks...then finally home sweet home...my messus(sp?) came and my body got massage, felt really good! needed that!..then afterwards i had me a lil nap nap =)

vj hunt update: i decided to b beyonce for the final nite...im doin her Crazy in Love video...i'll b wearin a white tank top, jeans short short, and red pumps, ooh and i'll b wearin a wig too...i have to dance like beyonce for a minute...wonder if i can shake it like her..hmmm...i guess we'll see...hehee

concert update: Missy Elliot's concert on may 26th!!! im so pissed cuz i cant make it...i'll b with mtv again for training and shiet startin may 24th..maayynnnn...maybe mtv crew will b nice enuff and take all the finalits to her concert..u think?..hmmmm...
