im goin to bali !!!

i kno wut u guys r thinkin, this chick doesnt do anythin and yet she goes on vacays all the time.. hehehe... but dont worry this time im actually goin there cuz of mtv... yup im substitutin for one of the vjs.. apparently they're all busy so they're outta vjs aaannddd as usual thats where i come in.. ehehehe... which is aaa oo kaayyy... i mean we're talkin bout Bali here, theres no way in hell i would reject this offer hahahaha...

so anyways i'll b coverin a surfing competition sponsored by Oakley... and theres a fat chance i mite get free stuff... so again, theres no way in hell i would reject this offer.. hahahaha....

i'll b leavin on sat mornin... the event is on sunday, all day loonggg... and then i'll leave for jakarta on monday noon... sounds great riteeeee? =D

they just moved to New Jersey from New York, so u kno they're lil gangstas.. hahah.. they're favorite song is Many Men by 50 cent !!! they even kno some of the lyrics.. hehehehe... and dont u worry bout doin "low bangs" with them cuz they sure knoooo how to do it with their Om (uncle) Oka.. hehehehe...

my korea trip

so we left for korea on july 8th at 10pm, the flight was about 7 hours long.. sheeshhh.. not a big fan of airplanes, especially cuz our flight wasnt a smooth one.. apparently we went thru a storm or a typhoon or wutever it was called, so it was bumpy, sucked... the flight ended up being 8 hours.. arrgghh...

we arrived at Incheon International Airport on sunday mornin... we as in me, my dad, my aunt, and 25 other ppl (these ppl went there along with my dad for some trainin)...

so we were in Seoul for a whole 7 days, sat to sat, yikessss a lil too long dont u think? eheheh.... since it was still mornin time, and our check in time at the hotel wasnt til 1pm so we went straight to do some site seeing... here we go with the whole tourist thing.. ready??? hahahaa...

and then afterwards we checked in at the hotel...its called Seoul Royal Hotel... awesome area it was in.. its called Myeong-Dong, the so called fashion district so it was deff sorrounded by stores!.. woo hooo.. hahaha... so we walked round for a bit, no shoppin yet tho... and then we had dinner, and then all of us were knocked out.. haha.. damn jetlag...

the next day rained all day long.. hiks hiks... it sucked cuz its summer and yet it rained... it actually rained for the 1st couple of days... still that didnt stop my aunt and i to go shoppin.. hahaha... but 1st we had to buy umbrellas 1st... and yea, i just had to buy a yellow one.. hahaha...

so all we did that day was shoppin, while my dad and the rest of the group gotta do training.. ehehhe... we ended up goin to Namdaemun Market.. its a traditional market, and it was oh so crowded... goodness... but i got me some nice stuff... yaaayyyy !!! let the shoppin begiiinnnnnn !!!... hehehhehe

the next day, it was still shoppin day for us ladies.. i swear mannn, u cannot not shop when u r sorrounded by these stores and markets.. hahaha.. wut a lame excuse, but oh well ;-)
so we decided to take the subway aka metro... one thing i always enjoy doin, takin the metro hahahaha... i mean cuz back in the states i drove so never really took the metro, only once or twice u kno... and in indo, well we dont have one, not yet at least... soo yea i like takin the metro, and wuuutt? hehehhee...

anyways so we took the metro to Dongdaemun Market... its a another famous fashion district, and its known worldwide.. and they got like 10 large buildings... sheeeessshhh... my favorite one is called Migliore... pretty cheap and u can bargain, which im not very good at, but then again i got my aunt to do all the bargainin.. hehehehe...

the next day we still had to do some shoppin, need i remind u i got lots and lots of cuzins... yup gotta get each and everyone of them atleast sumthin ya kno... we basically went back to Dongdaemun market, but we didnt take any pics that day, too busy shoppin hahaha... ooh and we actually met up with one my aunt's friend, we had a yummy lunch, yup almost forgot bout that hehehe...

the next day my aunt and i joined the group... yuupp since the group was goin to the indonesian embassy, we said y the hell not.. hahaha.. it was kinda borin tho... cuz the whole group had a meetin with the Ambassador, and i was just there to take pics.. o well...

after the embassy we went to the National Ginseng Center... apparently Ginseng is a big thing in Korea... ewwww i dont really like ginseng, 1st it tastes weiiirrrddd and 2nd it is soooo expensive... my dad n i wanted to get some but then after we found out the price, we were like ummm thanks but no thanks.. hahahah....

then we were off to Korea Traditional Culture Center... and we learnt how to make Kimchi, the oh so famous veggie in Korea.. hehehhee...
honestly i dont really like it, cuz i dont like veggie unless its a salad.. heheheh... buuttt it was still fun to make...

the next day, the men wanted to pray at a mosque cuz its friday... the mosque is in Itaewon area which is pretty much a tourism zone... bunch of stores, shoppin centers, markets, and its full of foreign tourists... lots of americans too cuz the army base is near by... so anyways while the men went prayin, us ladies got to do some more shoppin... hehehe...

and then afterwards we went to Namsan traditional village... pretty much checked out the traditinal houses in Korea.. pretty interesting i must say... n just had to take more pics.. hehehe.. asiannnnsssss... heheheh

then saturday came and it was time for us to leaveeeee.... u kno at 1st i thought a whole 7 days would b waaaayy too long... but it wasnt, it was just enuff... and besides i was running outta money too, so i was glad to go home.. hahahaha...

but ofcourse it wouldnt b me, if i hadnt done some last minute shoppin... i dragged my dad along for some last minute shoppin around the hotel area.. hehehe...

then we left the hotel at 11am to have some lunch then off to the airport...

oka's 26th boitday

july 8th is his boitday.. woo hoo.. happy boitday love!!!...
it sux cuz i wont b able to spend the whole day with him cuz i'm leavin for korea... i wont see him for a wholeeee week.. hiks hiks..
at least we had an early boitday dinner tho.. aaannddd i gave him his gift already.. i got him an ipod nano and he was soo happy!!.. woo hoo.. last year i got him shoes that were a lil too small for him haha.. i sooo did better this year hahaha...
i wish him the best n i hope he becomes an even better man, luv hiiiimmmmm =D

next trip.. KOREA !!!

i am goin to Korea !!!.. woo hooo.. my dad is goin on a business trip and iiimmm goin along for the ride!.. hehehe.. we're leavin on sat, and we'll b there for a wholeeeee week =D aaaaaahhhhh... i cant wait!! i've never been there before, so its gon b fun fun fun... gon take lots of pics and ofcourse gon go shoppin!!! woo hooo...

too bad tim kim is not there... i actually msged him on friendster a few days ago, and apparently he was there this past may... aaaarrgghhh... would have been great if we were to meet up...

time flies

sheeesshhh.. cant believe its july already... we're in the 2nd half of 2006... come to think of it, thats kinda scary dont u think?... for real, im not gettin any younger, goodness... i'll b 25 in january, aaahhhhhh!... y cant i b forever 21!.. hehehe..

if u ask me, i have yet satisfied with wut i have achieved, well im only human, i think no human is ever satisfied u kno..

my life is, ummm, i dunno i honestly think if i never moved back here things would deff b diff.. not just my life n ppl round me, but i myself, u kno.. how i was deff more independent before.. i did everythin by my self, i drove myself places.. i got a job, got my own money to spend.. my rents trusted me n let me go places by myself..

but nowwwww... everythings changed... man i dont think i've grown, instead i think i became spoiled, ok so maybe i was a lil spoiled before heheh but yea i think its gotten worse... i dont drive, im freakin dependent on a driver... i take cabs but sumtimes its just scary to take cabs by ur own self, n dont even ask bout nite time... i got a job, but bein in this whole entertainment industry u can never b too sure for a stable job... no stable paycheck at times u kno, kinda sux... my rents dont really let me go places by myself, unless they kno who im gon b with... they deff ask the 5W now, who? when? where? what? why?... and im freakin 24 for goodness sake and yet i feel like i have a curfew for life, aahhhhh sux!

and back then i work aaaanndd i go to skool... rite now, theres no skool for me... the bad thing bout bein outta the loop for so long, i kinda got super lazy to go back... but i kno i will, i have to, no questions bout that... well maybe WHEN? is the question... and the answer, ummm... soon... i hope... yeaaa...

aaahhh i dunno, maybe im just ramblin bout nonsense, but i dunno, it makes sense rite? kinda? sorta? maybe?... ugh...
