mtv vj hunt 2005 final !!!

last nite was the mtv vj hunt 2005 final...gosh i cant believe that its been a year since i was one of the finalists..hehehe...time flew im tellin ya ;-)

anyways so last nite i went with the other finalists from last year, not all tho...9 outta 12 finalists came to support, which was pretty kewl cuz it was like a lil reunion kinda thing...oow and ofcourse my oka was there also =)

the stage setting was awesome! sad to say but yea that shiet was better than the one we got last year, damn it! hehehe...

and just like last year, the finalists had to do the look alike contest...so all 10 of them performed as their idols...this one chick did the beyonce, but she aint got nothin on me..ahhahaha..im playin...shes coo..hehehe...

anyways this guy named Alblen from jakarta came out as the winner...he was usher for the look alike contest, he did aiite but i think he could have done better, we need more dancin ya heard! hehehe...

afterwards we went to the club for the after party...it sucked big ones cuz it wasnt rnb nite...blah...

another interview with intl artist !!!

today i got to interview Marion Raven...does that ring a bell??....dont worry if it didnt cuz i myself didnt kno who she was when i 1st heard the name...and then my producer told me she used to b in a pop duo called M2M....ding ding ding....oooh i deff remember M2M...they did a soundtrack for Pokemon the movie hehehe...yes i enjoyed their songs... i was a pop lover damn it...wait i still am..hahahaha....ooh so yea shes doin a solo career now, got an album comin out soon....

anyways she was very girly and calm and she talks like really really slow...but all good cuz she was a nice one...i mean she wasnt hard to b interviewed...but i was the one who was havin a bad day so the interview went aiite...when it was supposed to b great...arrghhh...so i interviewed her for 2 programs...after i did one, she asked me if i lived in the states before cuz i got no asian accent...ahahahahah...giiirllll..u kno im black like that...got it from hangin out with asta and mrm and emanee...no kanel, u're not black like us..heheheheheh...so overall i did ok, i like heeerrrr...shes niceeeeee...hehehehe

last nite we went to our friends' weddin...the place was packed...blah...i hate it when weddins r too packed...cuz then u dont feel like eatin the food..hahaha...see over here u have to que in line to greet the bride n groom and their parents...and the freakin line was soooo long last nite....we were in line for like forever....after we greet them then it was dinner time! eat eat eat!...hehehe...the food was pretty good, they had the best macaroni and cheese..hehehehe...

anyways we werent there for long...we ate, said hi to ppl we kno, mingled a bit...then went home...hehehe
overall the weddin was nice, they sure do have lots and lots and lots of friends...haha...

one of my dreams came true !!!

all of u guys kno...especially my friends in va...that i luuuuvvvv ja rule ever since he did "can i get a" with jay-z...and its been one my dreams to get to inteview this rapper...i remember i used to tell my friends that one day if i did go back to indo that i will work for mtv and i will interview him...and i said, better remember that and watch me guys....(cocky i kno haha)

and o gosh...that dream came true today!...it was just like wut i thought it would b...it was awesome!...it was the best!...

let me tell u all about it...hehehehe

so i've done my homework for the past couple of days, i did research on him just to make sure i have the rite infos...i listened to his tracks again to refresh my memory (thanks oka for lendin me one of this cds hehe)...i've read my scripts over and over and over and over again so when the time comes it'll b perfect..hehehe

anyways i kinda couldnt sleep last nite, kept thinkin bout it, could this b real? sumone pls pinch me and tell me im not dreamin (well the ppl in my house were asleep already so yea no one pinched me hahaha)...then i woke up this mornin...and i was hyped, i put on my "I <3> NY" top and i said bring it on ja!...hehehe...

got to the press conference, he was late but that was understandable...presscon sucked cuz no everyone barely asked anythin, they just took lots and lots of pics...

mtv was the last one to interview him...so had to wait a bit...for other media to do their shiet...after he did a couple, words spread that he wasnt a happy camper...see the bad thing bout bein the last one to interview is if he got tired of interviews then hes just not gon b in the mood...sux for us rite...i kinda dropped a lil when i heard that cuz i have to do more than one program with him...so i was like pleeeasssee let him b in a good mood again..hehehehe....

1 down, 2 more to go...next was mtv jams...i did 2 links for jams...1st we talked bout which producers he wanna work with next...and then we talked bout collabos...and i said it seems like everythin that he touches turn into gold...and he corrected me, he said nah they all turn into platinum...i was like ooooh nooo he didnt..hahahahaha...then we chatted a bit more...and then i asked him to freestyle, i didnt think he was gon do it but he did !!! ooow hes such a good sport...luv ya jaaaaa...heheheh

then last but not least..i had to do mtv land...its all bout his album R.U.L.E...i had to do 3 links, and i messed up on the 1st one, i went totally blank on the questions..shieettt...but i recovered, gosh i hope it didnt look that bad...anyways then we chatted..and then at the end of the show he had to do another freestyle..but this time i asked him to freestyle bout indo...stupid me, i said indo instead of indonesia so he thought i was askin him to freestyle bout weed..wahahahaha....so he was like u sure i can talk bout that...im like no no no..hahaha..not thaaat indo..hahahaha...

so oka and i went to the concert with a few of our other friends...the concert was amazin!...or maybe cuz i've been waitin for this for like forever so it felt amazin..hehehe...anways he did all the hit singles...i sang along...not his part of course, i sang along the chorus wahahahaha....

1st interview with intl artist =)

yup yup....today was the day...the day i got to interview an intl artist....i mean i've interviewed keith martin and christian bautista from the phillipines...so still asia u kno...im talkin bout sumone from the US or the UK ya knoooo....hehehehe...so yea...i got to interview a pianist named Maksim, hes from croatia but he lives in the UK...yea sumthin like that...
anywaaayyyysssss...i was a nervous reck...cuz this shiet wasnt my job, this was supposed to b vj cathy who interview him...and the shiet was scheduled for tomorro...but shiet happened and they moved the interview to today...and cathy is busy today so they told me to substitute for her...yea so my ass got a hand me down job, but who cares hahahahaha.....
aaaaannnnndddddd i did well today...i sooo did well today for my 1st time...i was nervous yes i was...but everythin went well...it lasted for like 5 mins...all gravy...and ofcourse i took a pic with him...thats a must ya knooo...holla! hehehe....
i dont think i'll b goin to his concert 2morro nite...
but my ass deff cant wait til thurs!....JA RULE IN CONCERT!!! HOLLA IF U HEAR MEEEEEEE....hehehehehe


After the interview

me soooo tireeeeddddd......

so yea i was outta town for mtv...sooooo tired....i was outta town for 2 days...had to cover 2 events while i was away...then as soon as i got back to jakarta, i had to go cover an event !....i swear maaynnn...they put my ass to work like anythin!....

so i got to Bandung on thurs---my mom and i took the car (well the driver drove us haha) and we got there round noon...chilled at my aunt's for like a min then off to shoppin!...actually my cuzins went shoppin...in the afternoon my friend ramon called me up and apparently hes in town also to promote his movie at some cafe...so my cuzins and i stopped by the cafe and chilled there for a bit...then around dinner time we met up with my other cuzins and aunts and uncles...heheh..yup the whoollleeee fam to celebrate one of my aunt's bday....happy bday auntie!

fri is work work work---i had to cover an event at the town square in the afternoon...it rained, sucked...blah...then nite time i had to cover another event at a club...event sucked, shiet wasnt on time...finally finished at 2am! arrggghhh....

sat mornin back to jkt---i had to go back to jkt and cover a high skool event that afternoon!...but its all good cuz oka had to perform at the same event...took the plane with my cuzin, got to jkt round noon, went to oka's, then off to the venue at 2, oka performed at 4, mtv crew finally came at 5, work work work, finished at 930pm..got home round 1030pm...and i passed out..hahahahagosh...

i luv mtv...but daaammnnnn can a sista get some rest now! heheheeheall good tho, i had fun even tho i felt like i was rushed...

another bday...

today is oka's mom's bday...so happy bday mrs. antara..hehehe...we went to lunch for her bday...oka's dad is outta town so it was only me, oka, and his mom...it was nice, we went to a japanese rest. for their buffet...im not a big fan of buffet cuz i cant eat much..but goodness, today was deff an exception...i ate a wholleee lottta...hehehe...i got so full it wasnt even funny...the food was deff very yummy! hehehe

oka got her a blender cuz she needed a new one...it was tite..i swear if i had one i'd prob b makin fresh juice errrday of the week..hehehe...

we also surprised her with a bouquet of fresh flowers...it was so pretty..i think im gon buy the same one for my house..hahaha..im jokin...

anyways i'll b outta town for a couple of days...gotta cover some event for mtv...work work work...hehehe

AVRIL LAVIGNE IN CONCERT

i just saw avril lavigne in concert!!!! aaaaaahhhh i like her i like her! hehehehe

so this is wut happened...i wasnt even plannin on goin to her concert...i didnt get to cover the concert for mtv...vj daniel got that job...lucky ass, he got to interview her AND also got to cover the concert....
i didnt get to see the interview cuz well cuz this other producer was in charge, not the usual one..so i said nevermind, but really wanted to take a pic with her tho..hiks...
so then i asked my other producer if there are any tickets left for the concert cuz i'd love to go...but lucky me, no tickets left! arrrggghhhh

anyways i was thinkin and thinkin and thinkin...and finally i said to myself, i have got to go to the concert cuz 1st-when the hell will i ever get to see her in concert again...2nd-i love concerts...and last but not least-i wanted to surprise oka and let this b our 1st concert together...

so i bought the tickets 3 hours before the concert...surprised oka with them...he wasnt feelin it at 1st cuz he doesnt like avril and hes not a concert goer like me...but he agreed to go w.me anyway =D

we got there late, 30 mins late to b exact...arrrggghhhh...i've never been late to a concert before...i was gon cry...the thing bout indo is, when they say the concert starts at 8pm, it usually starts at 9...but for some reason tonite the concert was freakin on time...arrrrggghhhhh....so yea i was all teary eyed when i got there hehehe but then i got happy as soon as i saw her performin...

im not a big fan of hers but goodness, her voice is tite!!!...and she plays the guitar, piano, and drums!...how kewl is that!?!? i had fun !! i hope oka had fun too...and i can say our 1st concert together was not that bad ;-)

HAPPY BOITDAY DAD !!

yup yup today is my dad's bday...happy boitday dad!!!...so the fam went to dinner all together, that included oka and phino (wina's boi)...fellma (febian's girl) couldnt make it..oww my uncle, aunt, and grandma were also there too...
wina and phino got him a watch...oka and i got him at tie...and febian got him a hug..hehehehe









i had to get up so early today...oka and i and a few of my buddies went to see Ramon's movie...yea my lil buddie is a so called movie star now...the movie was pretty good, pretty funny actually...i enjoyed it very much, thank u..hehe...but oka said the movie is for a bunch of tweens...well yea i guess i kinda agree with that ...but im so proud of ramon, he did well in the movie...when is it my turn to star in a movie huh? huh?....we'll just have to wait and see i guess ;-)

i was with oka the whollleeee day...luved it!...and thats pretty much wut i did on my sunday...

another performance

last nite oka had a performance, so i went along with him and the others again...i kno i've said this before but i do love it when i get to keep him company and see him perform...hes sexy when hes on stage..hehehehe...

anyways the performance was outta town, its about an hour and a half from jkt with no traffic--with traffic its like 3 hours hahaha...
and lucky us, yesterday traffic was a biatch so yea the car ride felt like foreverrrr...but i fell asleep so umm i shouldnt complain..hehehe

so the event organizer picked us all up around 5pm and we got to the place round 730pm...and this is where it didnt make sense, i dunno y we had to b there so early cuz oka was scheduled to perform at midnite?!?!?
it didnt make sense rite? anyone who agrees with me say aye...ayeeeee!!...hehehehe

anyways so we waited and waited and waited....and finally he got on stage at midnite....he did ok and soraya did ok too, i have to say it wasnt their best performance tho...but i guess everyone just got tired from waitin around for too long... but either way oka still looked good up there..hehehehe...luv u baby!

funny thing happened...ok maybe it wasnt funny...but yea this is wut happened, as soon as we got to the place soraya and i had to go to the bathroom...ooh and oka had to go too...so we walked to the bathroom and we passed by these 3 chicks rite...
and then as soraya and i got out of the bathroom one of the chick was like, can i pls take a pic with u? ummm sure...so we took a couple of pics and then she showed me her cell fone and on it was oka's pic as the wallpaper (im fine with that)...so i thought alrite this chick is a big fan of oka....and then she asked if it was ok for her to take a pic with oka...im like wut a nice chick, she asked me 1st so i said sure go ahead, he'll b out in a min...
then oka got out of the bathroom and this chick got so happy and then she took pics with oka...like 10 of them! goodness gracious all huggin him and ish too...(im still fine with that)....
then we really had to go to the waitin room, so we told her we gotta go so we said bye and then outta no where this chick kissed oka! (alrite it was on his cheek but still, at this point i was bout to take off all my jewels and kick sum ass...hahahaha...ok maybe not...but i've never seen that happened before, so i guess i was in shock..hah)

so i guess the moral of the story is...wait theres no moral of the story...hehehe...i think there are things that i just have to get used to...well i just hope next time chicks will only take pics with him...no kissin por favor ;-) all my chick friends who agree with me say aye....ayeeeeee! hehehehehe
