too many things been goin on.. havent had time to actually sit in front of the comp and blog... lets see...
-my aunt's wedding
-my sis' wedding -oka left for singapore-mtv indo movie awardsmy sis' weddin was sooo tiring... got me all sick and ish.. actually i still am sick, got the flu for freakin 2 weeks now... so i think i will blog with all the details in the next couple of days okie... til then ;-)
yup.. today was deff a loooonnngggg day....i kno i havent said anythin bout oka mite leave for s'pore... hes plannin on takin his master degree at James Cook University.. well i think its gonna happen for real =( im sad ofcourse, im so used to bein with him pretty much 24/7.. and for him to leave to another country is crazy for me.. but i kno its a good thing, hell, its a great thing that he is doin this... not gonna b in his way of him gettin his education thats fa sho...so yea we left this mornin to s'pore to check out where he'll b stayin, check out his skool campus... we thought that was all he had to do.. but then it turns out he had to get his medical check up as well... omg! it took soooo long... we were at the hospital for ever!... by the time he was done with the check up, we had no time to do anythin else.. so we just went to my cuzin's place, rest a bit, and then we went back home....soooooo tiring!... but im glad i was there with him the whole time... got to jakarta, and his rents picked us up =)bad news, he wont b able to make it to my sis weddin which will b held on sept 4th.. cuz that exact mornin he has to leave for s'pore n start skool =( ugh.. i am pissed, but theres nothin i can do... i dunno, at least he'll b here on the day before the weddin.. (there r sum stuff goin on for weddin)aaaahhhhhh... im gonna miss him sooo much.... i hope we'll b ok with the whole long distance thing... yes, i think we'll b just fine... gotta have faith, rite? ;-)
aaahhh.. i still cant believe he is gone...dherry was his name, only 25 years old... was a son, a bro, an uncle, and ofcourse a friend...i kne him from way back... kne him since we were just kids... he lived in my cuzin's neighborhood so we all would play together... i even still remember we all went to see Gogle Five (aka power rangers) live show...and then we lost contact... until he, his sis and his mom moved to VA that is... we hung out a couple of times... he lived there for a couple of years until he moved back to indo (while his mom and sis stay in VA)... since then he lived in aussie for a year or so.. and then i guess in 2004 he was livin in indo again, saw him once or twice... then in 2005 i got to see him more cuz i would see him at concerts.. yup, everytime i was workin for mtv to cover a concert i would interview him, every single time... and he never rejected the interview cuz he kne it makes my work easier if i interview sumone i kno.. hehe.. and that was it.. never saw the guy after concert season was over... until last tues, august 8th 2006 when my mom got a fone call sayin he was in a hospital for AIDS... my jaw dropped when i heard it!... i never kne anyone with AIDS before... apparently he has been in and out of the hospital for the past 3 months... so that day my mom, febian, and i went to visit him... i couldnt believe my eyes, he didnt look like the guy i remembered.. he was so skinny, he looked like a livin skeleton, he could barely speak, when he did it was one word at a time... his hands kept on shakin when he tried to raise them... aaaahhhh i just wanted to cry... but i tried not to...i helped him drink when all he could do was just lay there... he prayed with the help of my mom... he prayed outloud which just made me all teary eyed... and finally i got to talk to him and asked him if he had seen pics of his niece (his sis in VA gave birth last month)... and he said no, so i promised him i'd print them out and give them to him...we couldnt stay n keep him company for long... but we could tell from his eyes that he was happy we were there with him... so then my mom said good bye all teary eyed, febian kept it cool... when it was my turn i held his hand and i told him to get well soon so i can see him at concerts again and that i would come back with the pics... and then i just couldnt hold it in anymore, i just started ballin.... aaaahhh i hated seein him like that... afterwards we went to my cuzin's house and knowin my aunt was goin to visit him that nite, i printed out the pics rite away so she could give them to him....later that nite my aunt called and said he was smiling when he saw the pics, and he kept lookin at them...friday, August 11th 2006... it was dawn and my mom got a fone call sayin Dherry was unconcious... she left for the hospital rite away... she and my aunts prayed and kept him company... i didnt go cuz i was still sleepin... but now i kno i should have gone cuz he passed away around 6pm... and now i'll never get to see him again.... i am so sorry...my mom told me the pics i gave him were taped above his bed... i kno wut i did wasnt really a big deal, but im glad atleast he got to see the face of his niece before he was gone...the fam n i will b goin to his funeral 2morro mornin...
with the birth of his niece last month, i guess its true when ppl say "when one dies, another lives".... may u rest in peace dherry, u will b in my prayers... 
so 2 nites ago was my sis' bridal shower n bachelorette party... it was held at this restaurant/lounge/club called Dragonfly n we got ourselves a private room... there were about 13 of us ladies... the dresscode was black n white, except for my sis that is... 1st we all had dinner...here goes the menu. hehehehe
i would have taken a pic of the ivitations but it was thru e-mail.. so no can do.. haha.. o well..
